In an earlier post I described the modifications I made to the KD1JV designed TriBander to make it more useful for SOTA. The modifications were successful in reducing weight, reducing receive current, optimizing jack and control positions, and providing a preferred up facing display. The modified TriBander has been used for multiple SOTA activations, its 40/20/15 meter operation matching well with a 40 meter EFHW antenna. But there were still attributes that I did not like
